Yes. We only change the text inside normal body sentences. Styles, fonts, spacing, numbering, tables, images, equations, footnotes, headers and footers are left byte-for-byte as they were. Words with special formatting (bold, italic, superscript, coloured) keep that formatting.
No tool can honestly promise that, because every checker uses its own method and they change often. We show our own scores, and on Pro plans an estimate calibrated from real checker reports. You choose the target and we keep working towards it.
Only the body text that we check and rewrite is counted, not headings, tables or references. Each document is charged once, and you can convert it again at no extra cost.

Your files are only used to produce your result. They are not added to any public database and are deleted from our servers automatically after 30 days.
It's made to polish your own drafts and to fix accidental overlap. When a sentence matches a source, we show you the source and a citation, so if you're keeping the idea, please cite it. Always follow your university's or journal's rules.
